Welcome to The Give Hope Foundation online store. We would like to invite you to participate in our 2012 Give Hope Golf Classic on Friday, June 8th, 2012 at LakeRidge Golf Course and our Give Hope Fall Festival & Auction on Friday, October 26th, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at Harrah's Reno Hotel & Casino.  

DID YOU KNOW...

1. The average family with a seriously ill child, who is covered by insurance, will incur an additional $ 40,000 in medical expenses.
2. The Children’s Hospital & Research Center, Oakland, CA., is 220 miles away.  It is  the closest  “children’s”  hospital for our local area that  supports catastrophic childhood illnesses.
3. The Give Hope Foundation’s top three types of assistance include: a) uncovered medical expenses and copays; b) travel expenses and gas; c) rent & mortgage payments.
4. The Give Hope Foundation is a 100% volunteer, locally-based organization. Your support goes direct to local children and their families.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO...

The Give Hope Foundation focuses on the child—not the illness. For us, the ability of the child and family to cope with the illness is our number one priority. We provide financial assistance for non-covered medical expenses, travel expenses related to treatment, rent/mortgage payments, and other expenses necessary to maintain a home for the child. Give Hope also provides supplemental assistance for medical insurance premiums when the insured’s parent is on leave from his or her employment due to the child’s illness.
